Mission Trips

Camp TED is a 10-day overnight camp for French teenagers and American teenagers. “TED” stands for “Totally English Days.” One of the purposes of the camp is to teach the English language and Anglo/American culture to the French teens. Champfleuri, an evangelical Christian center in Champ- pres-Froges, France, runs the camp.  At TED, the teens have an opportunity to play games, make friends, hear Bible-centered talks and worship God.  The biggest role that the American Teams play at TED is to be Intentional Campers (ICers) during the camp.

What does it mean to be an ICer?

Being an ICer means being intentional – having a purpose behind what you do, how you act and what you say. ICers are committed Christian teens who seek to share the gospel of Christ through their words and reflect Him in their actions. There are a few ways they do this.

Build relationships with the other campers

Show Godly character

Help plan and facilitate activities and workshops

Give their testimonies in formal and informal settings

Wednesday Nights

The Well

Angeline Brock

Director of Spiritual Formation

A Moncks Corner native, Angeline returned to her hometown after receiving her degree from the University of South Carolina. After volunteering at our church and feeling the gradual and gentle tug toward ministry. She worked with the youth and children’s ministries, while also working in retail in Mt. Pleasant. In 2015, her sense of call became a little clearer when she started serving on the newly formed Mission Ministry Team at FPC. In January of 2018, she approached the leadership of our church to help her discern a more formal call to ministry. Shortly thereafter, our previous Director of Spiritual Formation announced that he was leaving to plant a church, creating an opening and perfect opportunity for Angeline. With our support, she enrolled in the Forge Network online cohort--a training program to live a missionary in your immediate context. During the summer of 2018, the Director of Spiritual formation position opened at our FPC; it was a match designed by the Holy Spirit. We can confidently say that God has prepared Angeline “for such a time as this” (which happens to be her favorite Bible verse - Esther 4:14).

Angeline is married to Sam. They are an active family, along with Clay (14), Lilly (12), a dog, a cat, 100,000 bees, and 11 chickens. They love the outdoors, hanging out on the boat and spending quiet afternoons on the porch.

If you have any questions about our Middle or High School programs, please feel free to contact Angeline Brock via firstprebyterian@homesc.com  or use our Contact Us form here or simply call the church office at 843-761-8469.
